Japan
7 January 2006 by: YervantI was invited to visit Japan for few days, Page Gallery has become very popular in the land of the Sun.
I was amazed how beautiful and clean Tokyo was, I also visited Hiroshima which was quite an experience!
The people were so gracious and hospitable, I have to say I have never been treated like this ever in my life, then of course they even got me singing with the Karaoke, I think I wil stick to photography he he!! Technologically, they are so advanced even their toilets are computerized and digital, no jokes ! ;)
I cannot wait to visit Japan again and take my wife Anie with me, what an amazing place! Tokyo is now definitely in my top ten favorite cities along with my absolute favorite Venice, then New York, Melbourne, London and Hong Kong).
I am now in Miami doing a two day seminar with Joe B. we are both very excited, the tickets sold out and we had to ask the hotel to organize more room. We are doing a live shoot first, I am Digital and joe is film, we will then share the results with the crowd, our visions, our reasons and then our finishing/dark room techniques. it is going to be an amazing 2 days.
I will post images and report in a couple of days, then I am going to Houston to do a solo seminar, then LA to shoot an engagement assignment and back home, 3 good movies and a scotch make the trip very smooth!!

I have to agree Japan is a wonderful place to visit. I was there when I was in Grade 6-lots of fun.
Yervant, I want to thank you for the artical on photoshop work you have written. It has helped tremendously with the wedding photos I have shot last year as second shooter. I am still learning photography and is gonna take more photoshop courses. You are a great inspiration. Since I don’t have the luxury to fly out to attend your workshop, I hope you will visit Calgary someday SOON. =) Better yet, I will make tons money and come to your studio to visit you.
