Miami & Joe Buissink

Our work is different, our approach is different but together, I really think we delivered an interesting combination for the big crowd who attended, and the feedback has been fantastic.
The organizer had booked models for Joe and I to shoot and…. they did not show up!!! What to do?? Then one of the photographers attending the seminar suggested bringing his girlfriend and dress her up as a bride for our shoot, Kurt from Orlando happened to have a wedding dress in the back of his car…..like all good photographers should, camera, tripod, flash, wedding dress!!! In the end, we had two other volunteers and we ended up with these gorgeous photographers as our models, even Ulysses modelled for us, the results were fantastic, It all worked for the better, I have never liked working with models, they do their poses which I simply do not relate to, I like working with REAL people and work them to my camera, real people do not act like the models, yes they will pose for you but it is real, they work with me and not for me, they get excited, their personalities come out and I can then capture the real person in glamour. Models simply act the emotions and I really do not relate to that.
There’s a couple I simply love, Ulysses and Jenni from …….., they came all the way to see us, we asked them to do the introductions. I love their work, I love their style, I just love these two!!
Vote Ulysses as the international Ambassador of Wedding Photography, the man has such class!!!

Yervant, even though it was a few months ago, Jenni and I are still talking about our enjoyable time with you and Joe down in Florida. I hope the brief video gives other photographers some idea of how engaging you make the experience of listening to and watching a photographer in action who loves his craft.
