4 July 2006 by: YervantIn June this year, the North Queensland professional Photography wing of AIPP held a three day conference at a resort in Palm Cove, about 20 km’s from Cairns.
A great bunch of speakers presented from different areas of photography. I was invited to present too, so I took Anie and our two boys Ricky and Robbie with us and extended the stay to a
10-day vacation, many photographers had brought their families too and the kids had a great time while we all caught up.
A great hi lite was a presentation by Michael Coyne, a great Aussie who has seen the world through his adventures photographing war zones in the Middle East. His images were not only moving but also photographic masterpieces. Michael has photographed for major media networks and his work has featured several times in National Geographic magazines.
It was one of the best events I have ever attended.
