This is for sure one great lens! Although, I wish they re-introduced the Canon EF 50mm f/1.1L lens.

Would I have it?

I’d love to, but do I need it?

I have EF 24mm f/1.4L USM and EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM lenses, of course the 50mm f/1.2L falls in the middle of the two, it is very tempting but I think I will TEST it before I make a decision.

I am really looking forward to this lens. Is it out yet in OZ? They are telling us here that it will be out in November 06. I am using nothing but primes and already own a majority of the L series primes right now. I am looking at getting this one and the 100 2.0.
