Dear Anie and Yervant.
Just arrived home after the most inspired workshop I’ve ever attended.
Yervant is the very best, his passion and enthusiasm know no boundaries.
What a fantastic venue to hold a workshop, my head is still spinning after an amazing 5 days with the master. To experience his passion and love photographing a genuine bride and groom against this romantic backdrop just blew me away, then to watch Yervant work his magic in Photoshop and turn these images into truly masterpieces, utterly amazing, no wonder nobody noticed the time was now 10.30pm, what a fantastic 1st day.
Thanks Anie for welcoming us all in your very own loving way, I think we all feel part of your family, you are a wife in a million, Yervant is so proud of you, and of course you of him. Thanks for allowing us to become part of your life, even if it was just for one week, the memory will stay with me for the rest of my life.
You both have inspired and encouraged me to take my creativity to the next level.
Thanks, thanks, thanks for an incredible experience.
Love,
Collin

Hi All
For twelve months I had been looking forward to the Venice workshop. I had never been to Venice before, but I had attended a one-day seminar with Yervant in the UK in July 2005.
I knew what to expect from Yervant, but I did not know what Venice would offer.
Let me say that Venice was truly fantastic, and it’s no wonder that Yervant loves it. Let me also say that Yervant was fantastic. His passion for his work and his passion for the people around him knows no bounds. From the very start, Yervant made me, and everyone else, feel like his best friend.
We were treated to a first hand experience of Yervant shooting (and dancing!) with an actual bride and groom (and thanks to them for coming over from Melbourne for us). Back in the classroom it was Photoshop time, and these lessons brought out the true beauty within the pictures. Next day it was shooting the models and putting Yervant’s lessons into practice. Yervant’s critique of our pictures was nothing short of a revelation, and his treatment of our pictures showed that we are all capable of putting some ‘wow’ into our work.
It was great to meet other photographers from around the world. At the end of the week it was like I had a new family.
They say that behind every great man is a great woman, and in Yervant’s case this could not be truer. Anie is the most wonderful person, and her contributions to the workshop, whether organising in the background or standing in front of the class, were absolutely priceless.
I came away from Venice feeling that my expectations had been greatly exceeded.
Yervant, Anie and Venice….. I love you!

Dear Anie and Yervant,
Thank you so much for a fantastic week of inspiration, fun, friendship, unconditional sharing, great food and so much more.
The workshop exceeded my expectations in every aspect. To see the world through your eyes for a week, is an experience that is totally priceless. And with all the fun and wonderful surprises I will certainly be attending as many of your classes as I can.
You are a true master of your craft and seeing so many great photographs become breathtaking master pieces in front of my eyes will forever change the way I look at my own photographs.
What’s more is that I now see Venice and also the fuller potential of any location like I was never able to see before. Thank you for elavating my abilty as well as my desire to see and growing my passion even stronger.
Thank you also to everybody who attended the class, you made the week even nicer. I am certain I will see many of you and much of your work in the future.
Love
Stefanie
Hi Anie and Yervant
It’s be all said ahead of me, but I feel I have to add my thanks for the wonderful glowing feeling I have had since returning to Ireland after spending a week in what is now my favorite city in the world ( so long San Fran and Sydney) Yervant said that it is a city that inspires artist’s, and now I can see why, and what an artist he is. What I enjoyed So So much out of the week was the friendship and respect, not only shown by Yervant and Annie, but also each and everyone of my fellow class mates, I have attended a few other major seminars in other locations around the globe, but as others here have said, this one was extra special, because we all were made so welcome by Anie and Yervant, when the class room ( if you could call it that..it was more fun that classroom sounds) was finished the “craic†as we call it here, went on late into the evening and often night.
I spent a couple of hours with yervant on the DWF in Fire Valley in Vegas in 2005 and learned a lot then, so I always knew that this was going to be so benefical to my buisness, but nothing could prepair me for such a great weeks learning, from such and inspirational couple.
I will forever be greatful for what you shared, and all I can say to the people that missed out, DON’T miss the next one, you will never regret a second of it .
To all the fellow great photographers I had the pleasure of meeting from around the World at the Venice Experience….thank you .

Hi Anie & Yervant!
I did a clumsy job of thanking you at the end of the seminar, and although there really are no words to do it justice I’ll give it a go.
THANK YOU!!
You’ve both really given us (although Paula wasn’t there she’s had a full report) motivation that we ARE doing the right thing by striving to become an awesome photography team and not just an acceptable one, this is really tough for us in our second year of business but because of how open, honest, and genuine you both are; we have been able to learn a great deal and have a better idea of who we are and where we want to be.
Aside from the motivation, watching Yervant in action was a superb experience- I’ll need to improve on some camera skills which I now have a few more ideas to try, but MOST IMPORTANTLY it was Amazing to see Yervant’s people skills in action.
So from now on I’m practicing an Armenian accent and urging all my couples to ‘make love to each other!’ – only joking, I can just imagine some of the answers I would get back in Liverpool! – seriously though I will continue to develop my own style that I am comfortable with, knowing it’s that, that will seperate me from the competition.
The whole experience was amazing, awesome, there aren’t enough superlatives.
– Thanks again for an experience I will never forget! – Phil (and Paula)P.S.
As soon as I got back home I put on the ‘masters of wedding photography’ dvd again and Paula even watched the bit with the butterflies even though she’s terrified of them!
Dear Annie,
Hope you all made it back home in good shape, I am sure the kids are happy to see you!
Ji, Ian and I would like to thank you once more for the most enjoyable seminar! You and Yervant were most gracious hosts, it was a pleasure to get to know you all better. It must truly be satisfying to be able to travel and work with your husband as you do. Hopefully Ji and I will be there one day. Ji is currently in Korea and I am in San Francisco and I will not be seeing her for about two more weeks. Fortunately the holidays are coming up and we will have some more time together.
As soon as Ian got home he wanted me to buy the Wacom tablet and he spent the next several days Yervantizing his own photos and getting handy with the pen. Must be nice to be so young and grasp things so quickly. He really was inspired from the seminar, and has asked me if he can really come to Melbourne for an Internship with Yervant.
I looked for the Greek Isles seminar and could not find any info and that could you please send us something. I think Ji and I would like to attend that one if possible.
All the best!
Cheers,
Kevin

Hi Guys,
Mark and Michelle from the U.K. Just a quick note to say thankyou so much for the fabulous week we had in Venice. You were both so amazingly giving with your time, and of course your photographs were as ever completely inspirational. We are sure that this will change the way we see and take pictures forever.
We also must say how lucky we were to meet such a great crowd of photographers, they really did make our week so special. Everyone got on so brilliantly and we all supported each other. We have been e-mailing each other and there are trips being planned to each others areas, along with phone calls, so it was a worthwhile trip in so many ways.
Anie, you are a very warm and generous lady, we felt like part of your family and will never forget your kindness and sense of humour – not forgetting your ferocious business sense!!!
Finally, if it is at all possible a few of us were interested in seeing your wedding contract as it may be useful when we update ours, you’ve got to watch those pesky Brides!!!!!!
Anyway, once again thankyou for everything and we really hope to attend another workshop, hopefully South Africa, so when you have details we would love to hear about it.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou
Mark and Mich x

Hi Anie & Yervant
I’ve just about got back on top of things at the studio since returning from Venice and now getting on with all the Christmas work that’s coming at me full throttle – so sorry for the delay in writing.
I can’t thank-you enough for Venice – I’m still on a high! I couldn’t fault it – it was so much more than I could ever have wished for (even though I already predicted it would be a fantastic week!)
Your willingness to share your knowledge in such detail and your honesty about your experiences through your career (and the effects on family life) is so appreciated.
I see from your blogs that London is on the cards in May – BRILLIANT! Please could you send me details, and put my name down.
I look forward to seeing you next year – please keep me updated!
Take care & best wishes

Hi Annie and Yervant
Sorry for taking a few weeks to send you this, but literally hit the road running an between trying to play catch up , since getting back from Venice, and also trying to ply all that I learnt at the week there, I barely had time to sleep.
I cannot express enough to you and Yervant , what such a wonderful experience spending the short 5 days with you Nothing and I mean NOTHING, could have prepared me for what a special time in my life the whole experience was. I now would have paid ( if I could afford- of course) 10 times for the experience, I must admit that it was one of the highlights of my professional photography life. As I said to you when we talked in St Marks Square ( wow that sounds so romantic :) ). Venice was like a family get together, yet the family did not know each other before we got there- but now we are all friends – and not one most especially you and Yervant with NO ego…and for that I can’t say enough Thanks !!
Tell Yervant what ever he said to the taxi driver in Italian, in front of the hotel – it worked….at one point I saw on his Speedo he was doing 125mph, we made it in plenty of time for the flight, thanks to what ever he said to the driver.
On a final note will you provisionally put me down for South Africa, I won’t know if I can commit to it yet due to work and the other circumstance yet but as soon as you have a date I might know better, I would love to do the St Petersburg trip too, in a way it could be so like Venice as in the city, without the water.
Anyway, Thanks Thanks Thanks, for such a brilliant time in Italy, and most especially thanks for been such a wonderful couple and people we can now call friends.
