Imagine spending Valentine’s Day at a seminar !!! Well some folk did just that!!
We hosted a 1-week workshop in Melbourne last week and which started on Valentine’s Day! Anie gave out hearts (her personal trade mark) chocolates, then we got working for the next 4 days.
We had a fantastic group again, some all the way from USA, Canada, Philippines and from all over Australia. We had pretty hot weather but this did not stop the group going crazy with their cameras in our beautiful city.
Being at home makes it easy for us to call some of our past brides and have them model for the shoot.
We had a Bride and Groom (who had got married only 4 months ago) to get all dressed again and we took them in the city on the first afternoon, which is dedicated to show the class what I do, how I do, why I do etc, so I shoot and explain as I go.
The next afternoon, Anie organised 3-4 brides to get dressed again and this time the class had a field day. Here are some pics from the week.

FUN is just as important for the week as the seminar content, so very special dinners around town, each one was a different experience both visually and gastronomically. I think the highlight was a surprise that my good friend John Garner (Bookcrafts) had organised for us . John recently bought a 42’ yacht, and had the large sail printed with our logo and an image, the yacht was docked at Melbourne’s new ‘Docklands’ * which is where my new studio is being set up. John and his daughter Julie surprised us with an on board cocktail party and an evening cruise around the bay. Perfect evening, no wind, perfect light, amazing scenery and champagne!! My other good pal David Williams stayed on land to take some pics (that’s the excuse he used but I think he was too scared to come on board!!)
There will be more Workshops in Australia next year, we welcome you to be part of our family.
Yervant and Anie,
Thanks to you both for a great week! Yes it was hot, but some great times and memories…hopefully next time we meet I won’t have a blog clot in my leg! I’m honored that some of my “shutter dragging” made your post. Wishing you both the best this world has to offer!
Warmest Regards
Randy Baughn
What a great week it was, and we learnt some things too.
I am extremely jealous of the ‘hired help’ you have. Laura and Anika are not only good for business, they are super nice folk and good to look at too.
Ahh sailing down the bay while sipping bubbly, what a way to end a perfect week.
Anie, Anika, David, Ian, Julie, John, Laura and Yervant, (alphabetical order just to be fair)
What an amazing group you are! First class all the way. Your inspiration alone has boosted me and my business in more ways then you know. You can not teach true passion, but you can live it and lead by example.
Professional, Passinate, Humble, Photographic Entrepreneur Extraordinaire are a few words that come to mind.
If you have never seen Yervant work you are missing out!
Thanks again for everything!
Kevin
