Has anyone bought and started using the full version?
Well I got my download 24 hrs ago & I am more than impressed with the update.
First nice surpeise was the installation. Old users will know what I mean when I say we had to dump folder here, there & everywhere, load actions, & everything in order oe else
So on this one I carefully read the instruction – but they seemed to easy. Open Photoshop then install. Thats it????? Anway on it went with not a problem.
On opening the program , at first glance, it is like so what’s new? But once I started playing with it all these wonderful new features appeared.
I really love the new slide viewer & will find that of great use. I also find it works well across a network. I design in my computer room but people view on a different machine in reception. So now I find I can design in my computer room, but having installed the software in reception, clients can view across the network. Then because it works across the netwark any changes can be done right in front of them instead of me dashing off to do it or opening the high res files in Photoshop.
All in all this has to be a great piece of software for any busy wedding photographer who wants to streamline album producion.
Also Peter is correct in the speed of the thing. I started to build pages & sat there waiting for something to happen. Next thing I knew it was done! It uses Photoshop in the background so while I was waiting to see Photoshop appear it was happily building away.
I still need to play a bit more as there seems to be yet more I have not found. Of course it might make sense to read the instructions, but one must remember I am a photographer & photographers only ever read instuctions when all else fails
So if any of you have been thinking of jumping on this piece of software then go for it as it is well worth the money & well worth the upgrade price.
On one machine I have it working with CS3 while on the other it works with CS2 & also has the previous version installed on this one as well. So as far as I can see it works well however one is set up to use it.
Well worth the wait. Also, having worked with software right back to Photoshop 2.5 I have no hassle with any delays there might have been in production. Far better to way a little longer & have something that works than try to work with a buggy piece of software that may also create problems with other programs & end up with a major computer crash.
So thanks Yervant for a great little piece of software that works well & will certainly streamline my production.

Yervant, thank you very much for the Page Gallery 4.0 upgrade,, but now that I have downloaded it and used it.( I designed an album last night.) I am amazed. It has so many improvements and new features and so easy to use! Thank You again and again. Anie, How did your workshop go. Was it on the business aspect of photography or did some shoe manufacture need your expertise in design and marketing☺!

I have just completed my first wedding book with Page Gallery version 7 (!!!!).
All right version 4 J
Yet then the improvements are so substantial that the software merits more than just one (or even a half) upgrade figure (from 3.5)).
For those of us, who were already avid users of PG 3.5, the new version is simply awesome – maybe a small step for Yervant, but a giant leap for us photographers.Compare to the previous version, speed is considerably up, production time down and productivity significantly increased – which in essence spells what it is all about: being creative while making more money.
The time to make a thirty-spread book is nearly halved and at the same time you gain considerably more control over your creative output as what you see is what you get.
The customers for this first wedding with the new version have just left the studio, their heads still spinning from the sublime Quicktime presentation accompanied by Unchained Melody, their favourite song. Of course buying a considerable number of extra spreads.
That’s the way to go.
