1. Implemented tilt buttons, which allows the user to tilt the image in the opening. One click tilts the image by (+/-) 1 degree. Maximum/Minimum tilt is (+/-) 45 degrees.
2. Crop in now goes to 400%. (Tilting at 400% can be quite slow since it is working on a large image)
3. Templates can now be flipped. For a templates to be “flappable”. If this template is selected in Page Gallery, then the user can use the flip button to choose the flipped version of the template. Output files will be automatically flipped at the end of their construction.
4. Photoshop Effects Actions. Up to 10 actions can be set-up in the preferences (along with the PhotoShop action folder containing these actions). Effects can be applied to an opening by selecting the opening and choosing them from the Effects menu or by right clicking on the image box (A, B etc). Only one effect can be applied per opening.
5. Added a Preview Screen (under the Album Menu) for viewing the low-res images with a full-screen black background. Use the escape key or the cancel button to close this,
6. Added new function to “Make Duplicate Album Pages” under Make Pages menu. The users can enter the size of the image they want and also select the album pages they want to duplicate (at a different size). Only finished pages (pages created by “Make Pages…”) can be selected.
7. Now shows the number of pages and total images used in the album underneath the album page list.
8. Page gallery will now start and load an album file if it is launched from double-clicking an album file.
9. Now draws a green diagonal line through used images instead of the white background.
10. The Duplicate Template Warning now defaults to true in Preferences.
11. Now shows a warning if you use the same template more than once. This can be turned on/off in the Preferences.
12. After deleting an album page and adding a new one, the page number is now correct.
13. New Find Templates Dialog allows searching by partial template name (as before) but also by the number of vertical, horizontal and/or square images in the templates.
14. New menu item “Add One Image” in the Images Menu. It also works this way if you hold the Alt/Option key down when using “Import Images”.
15. The double-page centre line is now drawn on the screen only and not the low-res output files.
16. Changed minimum screen size to 1024×728
17. Added keyboard shortcuts Preview Album (Cmd-R) and Update-Low Res (Cmd-U)
18. Added code for checking if about to write over of old high-res files and warn them.
19. Added Flip Horizontal function for an image in an opening.
20. Can now enter the maximum number of pages allowed in the album (Under Album menu) and the program will issue a warning when this number is reached.
21. Added New Preferences option. “Allow Make Pages with missing images”. This will allow a page to be created with some openings empty. In this case the script creates a dummy 4×6 image (cropped to the openings aspect ratio) filled with white at 0% opacity.
22. Added a new parameter to the XML file that applied to double-spread galleries only. It would flag a template as being one sided (for front & back covers). If set the final output page would be resized to half the double-spread width because it will have been created at half the width.
23. Now allow multiple pages to be selected (for remove pages and for making currently selected pages).
24. Now Proof pages from low-res samples can be printed. To do so, go to the menu [File]—>[Print…].
25. There are two options for output page style:
(a) Two columns with any many rows as you can fit on a page.
(b) One on page with Studio name at top (set and saved on form) and low-res file name to bottom and optional signature line “Approved by…......”
(c) One On Page With Legend
(d) In relation to this, page set-up can be set and saved. To do so, go to the menu [File]—>[Page set-up…].
26. Changed album file structure. Now when creating new album, everything is created in one “Album Folder”.
27. Added recent item functionality in the Menu.
28. Added top/bottom centre marks for right hand images when working with double-page spread galleries.
29. Added “All” tab, which shows all the images.
30. Added background update checker for new versions. (In “Help” menu and Preferences)
31. Added “Image Snapshot” button, which saves the current image in a new floating window. This allows the position/cropping of two images to be compared.
32. Made changes to program to allow it to handle languages other than English.
33. Added the alibility to create a QuickTime movie slideshows from the Low-res images. Music can be added from either a music file or an iTunes playlist.
34. Recent album information is now stored as an alias so albums can be found if moved externally.
35. The default location for a new album is now the folder that the last album was created in not the last album’s folder itself.
36. Imported image filename space in the main window is now longer.
37. You can now enter Studio Name for Printing and Slide Show in Preference.
38. Added “Preview Album” button on the main window.
39. Added short cuts for following functions.
40. Added a function to check if the High-Res images have been updated since creation. If so, showing message advising that the low-res images need to be updated is displayed. This checking occurs when: (a) Opening album if this setting is ON in Preferences. (b) Click “Check and Update Low-Res Images…” (In Album menu) (c) Checking the “show output page” checkbox on main window.
41. Added a new popup thumbnail viewer. To use this, move the mouse over a thumbnail image and press the Option/Ait key. On Macs, you can move the mouse over other thumbnail images to see them enlarged. On PC’s, you have to remove and press the Alt key each time.
42. Now, up to 26 images (A to Z) can be added to a template.
43. Added an new menu item (under the Album menu) to allow the user to open the currently selected final page in PhotoShop (use shortcut cmd-H). This menu is called “Open Selected Page File in Photoshop…”. Cmd + Click allows to open multiple pages.
44. Now, the album page list has the “Tick” shown in the Album List in two colors.
45. Now, the user can change up to two background colors in Page Gallery.
46. Added ability to save favourite templates for each gallery.
47. Now checks that all the original images for all the pages that are selected for “Make Pages” can be found BEFORE starting any Photoshop actions.
48. Changed the list of Galleries to a Popup menu. The last selected gallery set is saved and automatically selected as default next time.
49. Japanese Language version completed. Both the English and Japanese versions are the same program file.
50. Now User can put custom size when creating QuickTime movie.
51. Located and fixed a bug where Photoshop CS2 couldn’t read © symbol (also Japanese characters) when generating album pages.
52. Add LayerEffect Menu option to apply half-opacity or one of three border types to selected openings.
53. Added Mouse Wheel scrolling of thumbnail images.
54. Added keyboard shortcuts to Effects and Layer Effects menus.
55. Add Yervants actions.
56. Display live “Sample page” on left side of Page Gallery.
57. A new View menu is used to select between showing the sample page, the original template or the output page. If the output page is not available then the sample page is shown instead.
58. You can use the “T” key to toggle between “Show Templates” and “Show Sample Page” views.
59. Added a Flip button on right side that allows a currently loaded page to be flipped.
60. The ‘Cancel’ button image on Preview window is brighter.
61. Changed default low-res image width from 1024px to 1920px. For HDTV.
62. Add keyboard shortcuts to the View menu items. (cmd – J,K,L)
63. After generating album pages, the last page in the album is now left selected.
64. You can now use the ‘Delete’ key to remove an image from selected box.
65. Added ‘Notes:__’ above ‘Approval’ line in a report.
66. All Templates are being re-designed and updated.
67. New template colors. White for first for background color. Black for second background color. Grey for Background transparent image. Blue for the images.
68. All the single & double side templates will be in the same Gallery.
69. There will be only one ‘PageGallery’ Action.
70. The new installer will load the ‘PageGallery’ Actions in the Photoshop Actions folder.
71. The ‘PageGallery’ Actions will be Automatically loaded in the Photoshop Actions pallet.
