The Star Shooter – Joe Buissink

My friend Joe Buissink joined me for a major city seminar September 07 here in Australia and New Zealand.

Our Two Views series #2. He still shoots 60% film, no one can talk him out of it, but then again, why should we try to stop him, and he is truly a genius! The man can see, can feel and shoots just right!

We came up with the ‘Two Views’ seminar programme some months ago while we were discussing our individual approach, expectations, results etc, and it dawned on us that we really are so different and yet so alike in many ways, and on the spot decided that our two different opinions and approaches would make a very interesting programme for photographers to draw a lot of information from, so we toured UK and Ireland in May this year with the MPA, it was very well received, the responses we got hit it right on the head about our ‘Two Views’ and what we wanted to present, so we decided to do a tour here in Australia and New Zealand, the impact was there again, photographers from all walks of the business and all levels attended and got the best of our individual approach and images.

We have now decided to bring the programme to USA and Canada at the end of April to mid May 2008.

Then I plan to take a long break from seminars and build up the new direction of my new studio at Docklands, create some new stuff which I have been wanting to do for so long and never had the time to pursue them.
